Elegant Occasion!
So what do you think?
I never thought I would look so elegant. Going through chemotherapy can bring some positive/fun new experiences. Not having hair actually help us focus on ourselves.
Hair can add beauty, but NO hair can also add elegant. So it is time for you to get out the house with some girlfriends, and have a great day out "hat" hunting.
Be daring, try...try..try,
Try different colors
Try different shapes
Try different fabric ...feel the difference
Send me a photo of your elegant occasion with your new head-wear. Let have some fun and style.

Eye changes
* Trouble wearing contact lenses. Some types of chemotherapy can bother your eyes and make wearing contact lenses painful. Ask your doctor or nurse if you can wear contact lenses while getting chemotherapy.
* Blurry vision. Some types of chemotherapy can clog your tear ducts, which can cause blurry vision.
* Watery eyes. Sometimes, chemotherapy can seep out in your tears, which can cause your eyes to water more than usual.
If your vision gets blurry or your eyes water more than usual, tell your doctor or nurse.

Eye Problems Associated With Chemotherapy
Mesothelioma patients can face numerous chemotherapy side effects that relate to the eyes. Some of these eye problems, such as dry eyes, are fairly innocuous. Others, such as conjunctivitis (pink eye) and cataracts, are more severe. Regardless of severity, any negative symptoms of the eye witnessed after chemotherapy should be thoroughly investigated to minimize the short- and long-term effects.

Welcome ...
to Chemo with Style, where I'll explore the possibilities of Colors and Style while you are going through Chemo ... a journey I travelled not long ago.
Together we will learn about Style and simple fashion tips to help you "look good and feel better".
You are “Beautiful, Brave, and still can be Happy”!
Now it is your turn to look at the mirror and tell yourself that ….
“I still can be Beautiful, I am Brave, and I still can be Happy” starting from now.
NOW ...
Now, let me share my journey with you about learning how to "Style Me Up" while I have no hair, and trying to look beautiful so I can feel happy at times. Well, I was looking for a website to see if I could find a site that has "Chemo and Style", not just headwear but a complete "how to" do it yourself make over. But I couldn't find one. At the time my energy level was low, and all I had left was to spend it with my young children.
It has been almost a year now. I finished radiation treatment in mid-March. My hair is about 1 inch long, and I look absolutely "stylish" ... well I think so anyway!
Somehow, I still miss my Chemo-style, where I wore so many colors and changed my look from day to day. I have every intention to start helping other women who are going through Chemotheraphy treatment in my hospital to "Style" up so they can add some sense + feeling of "Beautiful, brave, and happy" to their daily life. But I can't help them if I have no "Styling" background. So I need to start some background research before I can help others. S0 I thought I might as well write it all down as I learn about it.
For a start, here's what I will be researching:
- body shapes and style
- headwear & wigs
- colors and me
- do's and don'ts for each body shape
- Style and personality ...
- etc
