Welcome ...

to Chemo with Style, where I'll explore the possibilities of Colors and Style while you are going through Chemo ... a journey I travelled not long ago.

Together we will learn about Style and simple fashion tips to help you "look good and feel better".

Hey, has someone told you today that you can still look and feel “Beautiful”, that you are the “Bravest” person I've even known, and you can be “Happy” too. If not, then here it is from me:

You are “Beautiful, Brave, and still can be Happy”!

Now it is your turn to look at the mirror and tell yourself that ….

I still can be Beautiful, I am Brave, and I still can be Happy” starting from now.

So you can do this!! Let's start by adding some color to your wardrobe, and sign-up for “Look good – feel better” classes for ladies going through Chemo.

Last year, I was given a chance to travel a journey that I'd never expected to travel. A journey that taught me to be "Brave, Beautiful and Happy". I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Wow ... then Chemo ... then I questioned myself, how am going to look without hair? What am I going to tell my young children? What can I wear after my Mastectomy?

NOW ...

Now, let me share my journey with you about learning how to "Style Me Up" while I have no hair, and trying to look beautiful so I can feel happy at times. Well, I was looking for a website to see if I could find a site that has "Chemo and Style", not just headwear but a complete "how to" do it yourself make over. But I couldn't find one. At the time my energy level was low, and all I had left was to spend it with my young children.

It has been almost a year now. I finished radiation treatment in mid-March. My hair is about 1 inch long, and I look absolutely "stylish" ... well I think so anyway!

Somehow, I still miss my Chemo-style, where I wore so many colors and changed my look from day to day. I have every intention to start helping other women who are going through Chemotheraphy treatment in my hospital to "Style" up so they can add some sense + feeling of "Beautiful, brave, and happy" to their daily life. But I can't help them if I have no "Styling" background. So I need to start some background research before I can help others. S0 I thought I might as well write it all down as I learn about it.

For a start, here's what I will be researching:

  • body shapes and style
  • headwear & wigs
  • colors and me
  • do's and don'ts for each body shape
  • Style and personality ...
  • etc
Let do this together! Maybe when you finish with your treatment, you can help a woman or two at your hospital and add a little "Brave Beautiful and Happiness" to their life through fun and style!
